COLONIE – Gladys A. Hartigan-DiNovo passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Hartigan.

Gladys enjoyed camping, playing BINGO, candles, sitting by the fire and crocheting her family a variety of beautiful items. She was a devout Catholic who loved spending time with her family, and adored her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her brother, Edward "Butch" Hartigan.

She will be greatly missed by her children, James M. DiNovo, Jr., Michael J. DiNovo, Sr., and Michele DiNovo; siblings Kathy Fresina, Pat Dominski, Mary Hendley and Chris Hartigan; daughter-in-law Alicia DiNovo; grandchildren Michael DiNovo, Jr., Kayla DiNovo, Niko DiNovo, Dante Talarico, Bella DiNovo, Nino DiNovo and Zenaida Smerznak; and great-grandchild Ayden James Alger; ex-husband James M. DiNovo, Sr., and many friends and family.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
