Gladys E. Miner
February 26, 1920 — April 17, 2016
Colonie- Gladys E. Miner, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2016. She was the daughter of the late James and Jennie Chamberlain. She is predeceased by her husband Edward Miner.
Gladys was employed by Eastern Tablet in Albany until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening as well as spending time with her family and friends. Gladys had a great love for animals especially her dogs Snoopy and Penny.
Gladys is survived by her sister Thelma Golden and her nephew Kevin (Barbara) Golden. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews; Casey (Andy) Hays, Keith Golden, Angelia Golden & Mark Golden as well as a great-great niece Avary Hays.
Our sincerest appreciation to the staff at Brookdale Niskayuna for their kindness, compassion, and care given to Gladys.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, 12205. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10:00am. Interment will follow the funeral service at St. Joseph's Cemetery (Schenectady,NY).
