Gladys Jussen

GUILDERLAND – Gladys Jussen, 82, of Guilderland, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Schoenfelder. She was a resident of the Albany and Guilderland areas for 55 years. Gladys was a cosmetic buyer for Flah's of Albany for 30 years. More recently, she worked at Macy's for ten years. Gladys loved gardening and vacationing in Cape Cod. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Gladys is the beloved mother of Carol Vecchione and her husband, Salvador of Latham and Glenn Jussen and his wife, Isabel of Brooklyn, NY. She is the devoted grandmother of Jeffrey Quinn and his wife, Ellen, Michelle Quinn MacDonald and her husband, Paul and Nicholas Jussen. She is the cherished great-grandmother ("GiGi") of Cydney and Mackenzie Quinn and Glenn MacDonald.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 206 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Gladys Jussen.
