Gladys L. Vivenzio

COLONIE- Gladys L. Vivenzio, 78, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Friday February 4, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Salem, NY and was the daughter of the late John H. and Elsie May Thomas. Gladys was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed all of her family celebrations.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Vivenzio in 2007. She is the beloved mother of Joseph ( Karen), John (Mitzy), Anthony Jr. (Carol), Walter (Cathy) Vivenzio, Cynthia (Mike) Justice, And the late Jeffrey Vivenzio. She is the cherished grandmother of Ian, Jeffrey, Jason, Jennifer, Jeremy, Nicole and Meghan. Great grandmother of Isabella, Giuliana, Sophia, Giada and Olivia. She is also survived by 3 siblings and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to the Cathedral of All Saints, 68 Swan Street., Albany. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
