Glen E. Guyette

Colonie – Glen E. Guyette, 81, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Whittier Nursing Home.
Born on July 1, 1931 in Scotia, he was the son of the late Theron and Nellie (Robinson) Guyette. Glen proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Corporal in the Korean War. He worked at Taft Furniture in Colonie, and retired in 2002 after 29 years of service.
Glen is survived by his beloved wife, Audrey; his children, Cindy, Dale, and Tracy (Perry); and seven grandchildren. Glen is predeceased by his son David, his brother Billy, and his sister Dorothy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Route 155- South of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York. Interment will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
