Gloria J. Neidrauer
August 6, 1947 – June 1, 2023
Gloria J. Neidrauer, 75, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at home with family, after battling pancreatic, liver cancer, and other illnesses. Gloria managed her illnesses with strength, perseverance, and grace; which was the same way she lived her life. She was loved and will be missed by her family.
Gloria was born on August 6, 1947 in Buffalo, NY; the daughter of the late Wilbert J. Paplow and Mary Jane Paplow (Dyson).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved sister in law, Jacqueline E. Paplow.
Gloria attended Lancaster High School, and later got her GED and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Canisius College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She worked with a variety of Human Health Agencies in both Buffalo, NY and the Capital District area serving both vulnerable woman and children's programs. Gloria loved to read and watch television shows-- especially mysteries. She also loved traveling, camping, playing bingo, attending musical events and shows or plays, and spending time with friends and family.
Gloria is survived by her four children, Walter T. Neidrauer Jr. (Colleen); Richard M. Neidrauer (Julie); Constance L. Neidrauer-Brown (Scott); and David S. Neidrauer (Amber); and her only brother, Gary J. Paplow. She is also survived by her twenty-one grandchildren, Matthew Neidrauer, Cassandra Garcia (Evan), Nicole Perdue (Devan); AJ Pitz (Peggi); Krystal L. Sill (Stephen); James M. Rivers (Crystal); Travis L. Hooper (Rebecca); Kyle C. Hooper; Angelique L.M. Brown; Michaela E. Brown; Danielle A. Brown; Gregory S. Brown Jr.; Gabriel M. Brown; Alex Neidrauer; Liam T. Neidrauer; Rachel C. Laubish; Rebecca Krantz; Benjamin Krantz (Rena); Sadie M. Schultz; Brennan D. Neidrauer (Brittany); Mollie M. Schaeffer (Andrew); and sixteen great-grandchildren; Austin D. Sill; Kaylie M. Sill; Dakota S. Rivers; Jacob F. Rivers; Danielle M. Pitz; Damien H. Pitz; Liam T. Pitz; Lainey J. Perdue; Anastasia E. Corbit; Fred Laubish; Katerina Laubish; Rome Laubish; Cheyanne Krantz; Maria Krantz; Lexi Krantz; and Finley Neidrauer. Gloria was survived by her beloved cousins Mary Jane Zydel (Joseph); Shirley Lynch; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 6, 2023. Additional information will be shared for anyone interested in attending.
