ALBANY - Gloria T. Parson, 74, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 22, 2023.
Gloria was born in Pensacola, Florida on April 3, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Howard and Beaulah Mae (Milton) Thompson and wife of the late Chester C. Parson.
Gloria graduated from Phillip Schuyler High School - Class of 1968, then graduated from Mildred Elly with an associates degree in 2016, then Hudson Valley Community College with an associates degree in 2021 and in May 2023 she received her Bachelor's Degree from Cazenovia College at the Golden Age of 74 years young. She currently was working for the Platinum Community Care as a Social Worker.
Gloria lived a quiet peaceful life. She fulfilled her life's dream of graduating college. Loved by her nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Loved listening to Jazz and dancing.
Gloria was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Milton and she is survived by her sister, Dannie Crawford (Tyrone); her brother, Howard Thompson Jr. (late wife, Toni); her sister, Susan E. Thompson; and many nieces and nephews and special friend, John Noisette.

Services will be private at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
