Gloria Leigh Williams

Stillwater- Gloria Leigh "Glo" Williams, 59. After a devastatingly hard battle with cancer, Gloria gave up the fight and passed quietly on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Gloria was the daughter of the late Asa Cooper, Sr. and Bessie Elizabeth Ruth (Stanley) Cooper.

Gloria loved her family and loved being a Mom. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Her faith in Jesus Christ her Savior gave her strength and hope for eternity with Him.

Gloria was the mother of Leslie, Nick (Rose), and Lena (Tom); her 11 grandchildren, Cynthia, Hailey, Troy, Leah, Nick, Jr., Mary, Levi, Samantha, Edward, Lena, and Stella; her siblings, Charlotte, Elizabeth (the late William), Carrie (Bob), Asa, Jr. (Bing), Amey (Larry, Sr.), Richard (Gina), Sophia (the late Bill), LeGrande (Christine), Katherine, Mary (Guy), Jean (Larry, Jr.) and an abundance of nieces and nephews that have blessed her life.

Gloria is predeceased by her sons, Dennis and Zachary; her brothers, Eddie (Rosemarie) and Gary.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00pm . A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home at 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service in Wiltwyck Cemetery, 205 West O'Reilly St., Kingston, NY.
