LOUDONVILLE – Goldie Amanat, 82, of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 after a brief illness. She co-owned and operated Harry's Shoe Repair in Albany with her late husband. Goldie was the beloved wife of the late John H. Amanat. She is the devoted mother of Robert Amanat and his wife, Carol of Amsterdam and Diane Geddes and her husband, Anthony of Loudonville. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael Amanat and John and Lee Geddes. She is the loving great-grandmother of Daniel Barbero, Jr. Goldie is also survived by her sister-in-law, Bertha Amanat.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
