Goldie Williamsaliberti Barris

ALBANY – Goldie Williams Aliberti Barris, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, where her last prior moments were surrounded by her loving daughter and son-in-law and the loving nursing staff.
Goldie was born on February 28, 1928 in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late Steve and Elsie (Jozna) Williams. In her youth she lived in Liberty, NY and then moved to Albany where she entertained in various venues in the greater Capital Region, NYC, the Catskills and Vermont in the 1940's.
Goldie was predeceased by her husband's, Anthony J. Aliberti and Thomas L. Barris. She is the devoted mother of Antonia Aliberti Diaz (Andres). She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont.
