Gordon Vincent Scotch
July 9, 1943 — July 7, 2021
Lockport- Gordon Vincent Scotch, 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Vincent and Madeline Scotch. Gordy was the loving husband to Joan E. Wass. They were together for 38 years.
After graduating from High School, Gordy joined the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He was a Maintenance Mechanic until his retirement.
Gordy was a member of Corpus Christi Church. He was also a member of the NWTF and the Halfmoon Senior Citizens Center where he played spirited poker games every Monday.
Gordy enjoyed spending time with his entire family on game nights. He loved to go hunting, fishing and golfing. What Gordy enjoyed most of all was giving his beloved grandchildren a hard time.
In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by his children, Lyndsay (Jay) Jackson, Adam (Jessica) Wass, and Eric Scotch; grandchildren, Jacob, Sydney, Daniel, Zoie, Matthew, Piper, Teagan, Sawyer, Fiona, Ciaran, and Amelia; and many friends.
He is predeceased by his sister, Theresa Swanson.
A Memorial mass will be held at All Saints Church, 76 Church St, Lockport, NY 14094 on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10am.
