Grace Buchanan

Albany- Mrs. Grace Chatman Buchanan was born July 16, 1941 in Alcolu, SC the late King and Theola Chatman. She later moved to Brooklyn and then Albany, NY where she worked for the NYS Dept. of General Services for over 25 years. Grace was a woman of faith having attended Mt. Zion Church in Albany NY and loved gardening, crossword puzzles and being with her family.




She is survived by her loving sisters Hattie Felton and Eva McFadden, her children Steve (Celeste), Darrell, Karen and Pete, 8 grandchildren (Lakeiya, Armond, Kamron, Tyrel, MaeAnna, Jhavon, Whitney and Kareem) and 2 great-grandchildren (Robert and Ruhmir) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.




She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Buchanan, two siblings (Estelle Chatman Jackson and Willie Thomas Wilson), Daughter-in-law Michelle, Brother in-law's Carlton Felton and Romeo McFadden, several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
