Grace E. Circe

SCHENECTADY- Grace E. Circe, 81, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday August 29, 2008 with her family by her side.
She was born on Cranston, Rhode Island and was the daughter of the late Charles and Vivian Hopkins Waterman. Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald R. ("Doc Circe") Circe Sr., her siblings Richard and Charles Waterman Jr., Dorothy Shaffer, Shirley Shaw, Ruth Proul and Vivian Hilton.
Grace had worked at the former Hawaiian Club in Albany as a line dancer where she had met her husband in 1949. She later worked for twenty years as a seamstress at Tough Traveler in Schenectady.
She was a devoted homemaker and the beloved mother of Bruce Circe of Rochester, Donald Circe Jr. and Sheila Andolina both of Schenectady. She is the sister of Milton Waterman and Gladys Lynch. Grace is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
