Grace H. Lucey

COLONIE – Grace H. Larkins Lucey, 91, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday April 3, 2008 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late William and Helen Stone Larkins.
Grace was a devoted homemaker and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, cooking and providing for her loving family. Along with her late husband, they had spent over 25 years as residents of Lakeland, Florida. She was predeceased in 2005 by her husband Cornelius A. Lucey.
Grace is the beloved mother of Richard (Betty) Lucey Sr. of Albany, Thomas (Margaret) Lucey of Scottsdale, AZ., Michael Lucey of Albany, Jerome (Barbara) Lucey of Myerstown, PA., Joanne Lord and Helen Lucey both of Colonie and the late Paul Lucey. She is the mother in law of Patricia Aber. Sister of the late James Larkins. Grace is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 8:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Saratoga National VA Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, 2 Mercycare Lane, Guilderland, NY 12804 in memory of Grace H. Lucey.
