COLONIE – Grace M. Gangai, 83, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Grace was born on August 17, 1922 in Hoboken, NJ and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Kelly Quinlan. She worked at Jack's Diner and was a cook at Our Lady of Angels Friary. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and her cat, Snoopy.
Grace is survived by her daughters, Jacquelyn (Martin) Sayne, Terry (Albert) Barcomb and Donna (Richard) Moore; her grandchildren, Gina Doninger, Michael Sayne, Albert Barcomb III, Angela Swartzendruber, Kelly Cole, Kevin Barcomb, Nicole Schaap and Matthew Petramale; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Hackstadt and Catherine Zlotkowski and her brother, Joseph Quinlan.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, then to Holy Family Church 279 Central Ave., Albany (formerly St. Patrick's Church) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
