Grace T. Wade

GUILDERLAND - Grace T. Wade, died Saturday November 10, 2012 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in 1922 in Saratoga Springs and was the daughter of the late Frances Folts Wade and George Wade Sr.
Grace graduated from Saratoga High School and then went to work for the War Department at the Watervliet Arsenal. Grace moved to Albany to reside with her sister, the late Margaret Wade Aedjian and her brother in law Harry Aedjian. She went to work for the New York State Insurance Department as the Assistant Administrator of Personnel where she touched many lives in her 37 year career. Grace enjoyed a good Met's game and looked forward to every summer to enjoy the Thoroughbred Race Track in her native Saratoga Springs. She traveled with her senior friends from St. Margaret Mary's on many bus trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
Grace is survived by her nieces Peggy Aedjian and Donna Aedjian McCann; her cherished Great Niece, Tracy Vincent and Tracey's sons, Craig and Sean; and her loving Great Nephew Joseph Anderson all of Guilderland. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews in Ballston Spa, Northern NY and Canada. Grace was predeceased by her brothers Walter Wade, George Wade Jr., William Wade and Donald Wade.
The family wishes to thank Grace's personal aides, Josette, Melodie, Sheneeka, Valerie and the staff of Albany Community Hospice for all of their help and care For Grace.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 3:30 to 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 6:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be Wednesday morning at 10:15 at St. Peter's Cemetery, Saratoga Springs.
