CATSKILL, NY – Grady Thomas, 92, passed away at home on Thursday, May 12, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was born in Atlanta, GA and lived in Catskill, NY for most of his life before relocating to Albany a few years ago. Grady was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during World War II. He is survived by his children: Teddy Dickson and Myron, Grady Jr., Loray, Shawne, Hayley, Tracey, Jason, Ramse and Ceasaré Thomas and his stepdaughter, Wyvonnie Turner. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will follow in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
