Gregory L. Garhartt, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 21, 2011. Greg was a life long friend of Thomas and Bonnie Roark and their children, Tom and Christina. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur W. Garhartt Sr. and Shirley (Wilcox) Garhartt, and his brother, Arthur W. Garhartt, Jr.
Greg is survived by his brothers and sisters; Michael (Mary), Alison (Tom) Dooley, Viola (Jack) Jessee, Jeffrey, Marietta (Daniel) Goodridge and William. He is the father of; Beth and Lee Carter, Sarah Piche and Eric Lanahan and Kyle Garhartt. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 5pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 4 to 5 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the privacy of the family.
