Gregory D. Price, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Greg was the son of the late William and Estella (Prattis) Price.
He was the devoted husband to Linda M. Slovacek-Price.
Greg worked for Schenectady Community Action Program as a human service worker for many years.
He enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching and spending time with his family and friends. Greg loved going on vacation to Cape Cod and Vermont. He appreciated all kinds of music.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Bordley and his beloved cat, Katman.
Greg is survived by his wife Linda, his daughter Deanna Allegra, he is the proud grandfather of Tiani and Dominic Allegra. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Amir and Anthony Allegra, his cherished brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Debbye Price and his nieces and nephew, William Price, Allyson Cortes and Stephanie Proudford.
A celebration of his life will be celebrated at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Schenectady City Mission, 425 Hamilton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 in Greg's memory.
