Gregory Sigas

Gregory Andrew Sigas, of Colonie, age 41, passed away Thursday, August 21st at home after a long illness.
Greg is loved by his parents, Kenneth and Suzanne Sigas, his sisters, Laura (Tom) Chirayil and Karen Torner, his nieces and nephews: Georen and Maris Chirayil, and Angelika, Mark and Matthew Torner.
Greg graduated from Colonie Central and Hudson Valley Community College. He took great pride in his work in the carpet and floor covering business.
Greg was principled, loyal, and devoted to his nieces and nephews. He loved the beach, cooking, and storytelling. An avid Buffalo Bills fan, he prized his Darryl Talley autograph. He also enjoyed NASCAR.
He will be remembered by his family and friends for his humor and integrity.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon funeral home. Services will be private as determined by the family.
