Guido F. Mazzeo, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.
Guido was born in Barile, Italy to the late Giovanni and Maria Mazzeo. He resided in Voorheesville for many years. Guido proudly served during WWII with the Italian Air Force.
Guido is survived by his cherished wife of over 66 years, Rubina (Suozzo) Mazzeo, he is the beloved father of John Mazzeo, Joseph (Laurie) Mazzeo and Mario (Kathryn) Mazzeo. He is the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many close family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens Colonie.
