Guy Montgomery, Jr.

ALBANY-Guy Montgomery, Jr. 55, of Highland Apartments, Watervliet passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2012. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of the late Guy Montgomery, Sr. and Mary Hooks Montgomery, of Albany. He has resided in Albany most of his life. He received an Associate's Degree in Business Management from Duchess County Community College. He was employed by Fuji Color as a film processor.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Montgomery is survived by his wife, Linda Hairston Montgomery, of Schenectady, his children, Leslie Montgomery, Twashay Montgomery, Monica Montgomery and Guy Montgomery, III, all of Albany; 11 grandchildren, his sister Mary Guthrie, of Albany, and a host of aunts,uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his father, Mr. Montgomery was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Montgomery/Hickman.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 Noon, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Albany with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the church.
Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Albany
