Gwendolyn C. Daniels

Gwendolyn C. Daniels was called to rest on August 20, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Charles Dukes, Sr. and Gladys Royal. Gwendolyn was the devoted wife to the late Robert L. Daniels, Sr.

Gwendolyn was born and raised in Albany, NY. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Hudson Valley Community College. Gwendolyn was a dedicated Bank Manager at Pioneer Savings Bank for over twenty years until her retirement. She was also a proud member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Rensselaer, NY.

Gwendolyn enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed pampering herself with pedicures and manicures. Gwendolyn loved to dance and she truly loved to travel. She always wanted to explore new restaurants and nothing excited her more than a good mystery movie. Gwendolyn was a sweet, kind and devoted mother, grandmother and friend.

Gwendolyn is survived by her five children, Rodney Daniels, Rhona Daniels, Robert Daniels, Jr., Rolanda Daniels and Rendell Daniels; five grandchildren Rianna Daniels, Naomi Daniels, Noah Daniels, Jordan Pryor and Brandon Boisseau; two aunts, Thomasena Dukes and Carrie Prince; step-mother Freetta Dukes, five sisters Vonda (Joe) Frazier, Marie Dukes, Marnell (Thomas) Bachelder, Pamela (Michael) Wright, Charlene Dukes, and two brothers Charles Dukes, Jr. and Chad (Heather) Dukes; brother in law Jerry (Beulah) Daniels and two sister in laws Shirley Tyson and Joyce Daniels, as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Friday August 26, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12pm. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 2150 Central Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304.
