Gwendolyn White, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2012. She was born in New York City to the late Richard and Alma White. Gwendolyn worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York City as a case examiner, and later worked with Albany Medical Center in the billing department.
Gwendolyn is the dear mother of Terrence "Terry" and Cheryl White; the cherished grandmother of Ru White, Terrence White, and Lionel Williams; the sister of Richard White, Robert White, and the late Geraldine and Ronald White.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation in Gwendolyn's memory.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 6 from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
