Harold V. Priddle

December 16, 1918 — February 25, 2013

CLIFTON PARK - Harold Vincent Priddle, 94, of Clifton Park died on Monday,
February 25, 2013 at the home of his daughter, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 16, 1918, the son of the late John and Lottie (Bailey) Priddle. During his life, Mr. Priddle worked at General Electric and later as a self-employed contractor building homes in Schenectady, Rotterdam, Mayfield (Priddle Point), and Edinburg.


In retirement, he and Ruth enjoyed winters in Ocala, Florida, and summers in Gansevoort. On Ruth's passing in 2007, Mr. Priddle moved to Clifton Park to be near family. He made wonderful new friends at Shenendehowa Village and the Halfmoon Senior Center. He was an avid card player, playing most days of the week at both places. He was a regular for lunch at the Senior Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Snyder Priddle, his parents, his son, Lon H. Priddle, his brother and sister-in-law, Edgar and Alice (Lawyer) Priddle, and his son-in-law, Elias Woitovich.


He is survived by his daughters, Agnes Woitovich of Clifton Park, Alma (Paul) Laramie of Nevada; grandchildren, William (Rebecca) O'Donovan of Lake Luzerne, Erin (David Barsh) O'Donovan of Schenectady and Ryan O'Donovan of Clifton Park; three great grandsons, John Seeman, Brent O'Donovan and Samuel O'Donovan. He is also survived by his nephew, Marvin (Doris) Priddle of Canajoharie, niece, Sherry (Tom) William of Lafayette, sister-in-law, Katherine Weinhold of Schenectady, and many nieces and nephews.


Both Harold and his wife Ruth will be inurned together on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Memory Gardens Colonie. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. There will be no calling hours.
