Harriet S. Gingrich

ALBANY- Harriet S. Gingrich, 93, passed away at St. Peters Hospital on Friday, August 8, 2014.
Harriet is survived by her daughter Eleanor (Chris) Dennis; her granddaughter, Krysta Dennis; and her nephews, George 'Judd' Sabey and Michael O'Brien.
Harriet is predeceased by her husband of 24 years, John M. Gingrich; her parents, George L. and Elizabeth Sabey, and her brother, George Sabey Jr.
Harriet enjoyed baking and sharing her baked goods with all of her friends on Breeman St. She was affectionately known as the "Mayor of Breeman St."
Harriet's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of her care givers including; Lisa, Vicki, Diane, Kim, and especially Josephine, who has been with her for 2 years.
She has been a life member of Pine Grove Methodist Church and on Tuesday August 12, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Harriet's family will be gathering at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie to celebrate her life. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Following the service burial will be held at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
