Harry D. Mccoy

Colonie- Harry D. McCoy passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 31, 2016 at his home. He was 65 years old. The son of the late Charlie and Bertha (Henderson) McCoy, Harry was born on July 18, 1950 in Bethune, South Carolina. Harry served his country honorably and faithfully in the US Air Force. Harry loved to fish and was an avid Mets fan.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia (Smith) McCoy; his children: Trisha Monet McCoy, Leslie (Jermaine Adams) McCoy, Steven Todd McCoy, Delwyne Booker; his grandchildren: Marcel, Bria, Azari, Jalen, Jahmari, Ariyana, Jasir, Jai, Delwyne, Mia and Braylon; his 2 great-grandsons: Jayce and Ja'Sai; he is also survived by 2 brothers and 5 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by 3 sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, April 6 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
