Harvey D. Evans

Mr. Harvey Evans, 64, was the son of the late Clyde J. Evans and the late Lillian R. (McElroy) Evans. Harvey graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, and attended Schenectady County Community College.

Mr. Evans leaves behind one sister, Celeste S. (Evans) Lewis; one brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lewis; and one nephew, Jordan B. Lewis all of North Carolina; two uncles Robert (Bobby) Evans and Jesse McElroy; and one aunt, Dorothy Evans; and a host of cousins and friends.

Harvey loved spending time with his family, especially his cousins. He was a big sports fan; he loved the New York Giants and Yankees. Harvey had a very big heart and was willing to help anyone in need.

Visitations will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Friday, December 29, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 to 11:00. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
