Harvey Forrest, Sr.

ALBANY - Harvey Forrest, Sr., 75, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014.
Born in Brownsville, NY, he was the son of the late Willie and Alice (Nelson) Forrest. He was a retired security guard for both the Pepsi Arena and Bank of America. He also served his country proudly in the US Army from 1956 to 1959.
Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Olivia Mason Forrest and his loving children, Veronica, Harvey II, Darryl, Almasi, Oliver, Daudi, Hadiya, Danielle, and the late Vanessa and Derek. He is the brother of Joan Mack, Carole Glover, Jackie (Gilbert) Claus and the late William "Sonny" Forrest. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Shakiyla and 18 other cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Monday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 am to 12 noon on Monday.
