Albany- Harvie Danzy Jr., 91, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Born in Bethune, SC he was the son of the late Harvie Sr. and Christian Danzy. Harvie is predeceased by his wife, Thomasina Danzy.
Harvie was a member of the Colonie Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Harvie is survived by his three sons, Gerald B. Danzy (Jacqueline), Jeffery T. Danzy and Rodney H. Danzy. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Liana, Le Roy, Aignier, Delia, Jeffery T.H., Felicia and Andre. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Quinton and Harlowe.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home.
