Hazel A. Overbaugh

SCHENECTADY – Hazel Overbaugh, 97, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital.
Hazel was born on March 24, 1910 in Fulton, NY and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Cora (Lott) Kelly. She worked in housekeeping for Hallmark Nursing Home for 8 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, baking and cooking, taking country rides, spending time with her family and going to Dayhaven.
Hazel is survived by her children, Doris (Angelo) Cerniglia of Schenectady, LeRoy (Pat) Overbaugh of Schenectady and Paul (Marion) Overbaugh of Edinburg; her sister, Dorothy Tariello of Venus, Fla., 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Edward Overbaugh, he died on April 12, 1998. She was also predeceased by 3 brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Breakabeen Cemetery in Breakabeen, NY. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.
