Hazel L. Hayner

GLENMONT, NY – Hazel L. Hayner, 96, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Born in Manetta, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl Crouch. She enjoyed doing crafts, knitting and crocheting. Hazel was the wife of the late George Snyder and George Hayner. She is the devoted mother of Egeria Wood, Shirley (Harold) Matott, Douglas Snyder and the late Ruby Travers. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, South Bethlehem. Memorial contributions may be made to Pineview Community Church, 251 Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Hazel L. Hayner.
