LATHAM- Hazel T. Andrews, 97, of Latham, passed away on Thursday May 7, 2009 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
She was born May 1, 1912 in Salem, NY and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Teresa Pekins. Hazel was predeceased in 2000 by her husband, William F. Andrews.
She was a registered nurse and provided private duty care for many years.
Hazel is the beloved mother of Donna J. Condon and her husband Richard. She is the cherished grandmother of Rich Condon and his wife Jill. Hazel is the sister in law of Thelma Pekins (late Vincent). She is also survived by 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple, Ave. Scotia, NY 12302 in memory of Hazel T. Andrews.
