H.B. Oren

H.B. "Bud" Oren, Jr., 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home in Schenectady. He was the son of the late H.B. Oren Sr. and Millie Grilbozer Oren. Bud proudly served with the United States Army during WWII. He spent over 40 years in the importing business. In addition to his parents Bud was predeceased by his loving wife of over 56 years, Audrey A. Oren.
Bud is survived by his loving niece and nephew Cindy and John (Jan) Slagh; sister-in-law Betty Gillison; great-nephews Michael (Kate) Slagh and Christopher Slagh, and dear family friend Grace Phelan.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Kingsway Arms especially the A wing for their love and support. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission PO Box 1999 Albany, NY 12201 in Bud's memory.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
