Heather Marie Diederich

Heather Diederich, a home ship supervisor, and lifelong resident of Schenectady, New York passed away peacefully at home on January 11th, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Heather was born on March 27th, 1980, to Linda and the late Phillip Diederich. Heather was a devoted mother, sister, daughter and friend to many. She enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach as that was her favorite destination. She enjoyed music and playing Xbox in her spare time. She also enjoyed spending time with family at gatherings throughout the year.

Heather is survived by her Mother Linda, son Alexander Diederich, daughter Katlin Shafran, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours for Heather will be on Thursday, January 19th from 3pm-6pm. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20th.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations in Heather's name be made to The Community Hospice Foundation 310 South Manning Blvd., Albany NY 12208, or Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Ave., Glenville NY 12303.
