Heidi Philipp

COLONIE – Heidi Elaine Philipp, 56, of Colonie, died Monday, July 4, 2005. She was born in Albany and was a graduate of Albany High School and Hudson Valley Community College. She retired in 2003 from the New York State Dept. of Labor after over 36 years of service. Heidi was predeceased by her parents, Betty Dobies and William Philipp, her sister, Donna L. Crannell and her brother, Robert M. Campbell. Heidi is the sister of Wayne Scott Campbell of Albany, Dr. William Campbell and Melanie Dobies, both of Las Vegas, NV and her cherished sister and dearest friend, Tricia Bink of Colonie. Heidi is also survived by several nieces and nephews including those that she opened her home to and held a special place in her heart; Jaime Dobies, Patti LeBlanc, Kenneth, Edward and Donald Bink. Also survived by her godson, David LeBlanc. Although not wealthy financially, Heidi always said she was one of the richest people in the world because God had blessed her with many great friends, especially Pat Shea, Karen Schultz, Jane Wade, Debra Parker, Peg and David Cisnek and her adopted daughter, Terri Hurd.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
