Helen A. Pneuman

DUANESBURG, NY – Helen A. Pneuman, 74, of Duanesburg, passed away at home on Friday, August 7, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Edinburg, NY, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Marian Edwards. Helen was married to her beloved husband, Robert B. Pneuman for 58 wonderful years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted son, James (Catherine) of Duanesburg , her cherished granddaughter, Jennifer (Thomas) Howe of Duanesburg and her great-grandchild, Tyler James Howe who was her inspiration and pride and joy. Also surviving is her brother, Gene (Judy) Edwards of Northville, NY and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a natural warrior in her fight against cancer. Her family would like to thank Dr. Jaski and the staff of Riverview Cancer Care Medical Associates for the outstanding assistance, care and support they provided to Helen during her illness. The family would also like to thank Community Hospice of Schenectady who was also a great comfort.
Memorial Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Helen may make a donation to the charity of their choice.
