Helen Anders

AMSTERDAM-Helen Anders, 91 of Amsterdam, NY passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY. Helen was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late William and Hattie Wolfe Pickett.
Helen is the beloved mother of Gilbert J. (Shirley) Anders, Jr., of Amsterdam and loving grandmother of Timothy Anders and Patrick Anders of Schenectady. She is also the great grandmother of Brannon Anders and Quintin Anders of Galway. Helen is also survived by her nieces Deanna Young of Pattersonville, Gail Monsouer of Elmira, Barbara Mattus of Michigan, Brenda Wheeler of Schenectady, Debbie Young and Pam Talbot. She also leaves behind a grandniece Colleen Talbot and grandnephews Shawn Talbot and Scott Talbot.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert J. Anders, Sr.
Calling hours will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM on Friday, March 8, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
Interment will immediately follow at Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
