Helen B. Wyld

Colonie- Helen B. Wyld, 86, passed away peacefully May 1, 2016. Born in Salem, New York she was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora Johnston. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Oliver Wyld, married 22 years.

Helen loved gardening and cooking and owned over 200 cookbooks. She also loved quilting and was even in a quilting club.

She is survived by her only son Keith Wyld (Joann) of North Carolina. Helen also leaves behind two grandchildren; Robert Wyld (Hana) and Clara Anderson (Michael) as well as five great grandchildren; Alex, TJ, JT, Faith and Liam. She will be deeply missed by her family and dear friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 9:00am-11:00am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, 12205. A funeral service will follow starting at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
