SCHENECTADY- Helen E. Chase, 84 died Friday December 16, 2005. Helen was born in Maryland and grew up in Delaware. After her marriage, she lived in Burnt Hills, NY before moving to Syracuse. Helen was a loving mother who worked as a secretary until her retirement. She then relocated to West End, North Carolina. Several years ago, Helen moved back to Schenectady to be close with her family.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Vernon R. Chase. She was the devoted mother of Carolyn E. Paquadeck (Ted Amedro), Russell R. Chase (Marsha) and the late David K. Chase (Judy). Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Jason, Brent, Heather, Shannon and her great grandsons, William and Adam. Helen has one surviving brother, Thomas Keim (Pat) of Oregon.
Private services will be held in Memorys Garden, Colonie, NY at the convenience of the family. In memory of Helen, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
