Helen Colello

LATHAM – Helen P. Colello, 80, of Latham, passed away on Saturday, April 07, 2007, after a short illness. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Witamborski. Mrs. Colello had lived in Latham for over 35 years. She enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Helen was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Vincent L. Colello, Sr. She is the devoted mother of Vincent (Lori) Colello, Jr., Anthony (John Poggoli) Colello, Gregory (Sherry) Colello and Brian (Debbie) Colello. She is the loving sister of William Witamborski of Lincoln Park, MI. She is the cherished grandmother of Penni, Michael, Nicholas and Christopher Colello and great-grandmother of Vanessa and Rick Anthony Cossart. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). There will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Helen P. Colello.
