March 17, 1928 — August 20, 2017
Schenectady- Helen "Grams" Crandall, 89, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Helen was the daughter of the late George and Selma Pieper.
Helen loved making "paper shoes" with her grandchildren. She also had a passion for anything green, even though she had no Irish in her. Helen loved watching "her shows" which were the soaps. Helen was all about family.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Selma Marley; her grandchildren, April (Dean) DeMeo, James (Jessica) Marley III, Ashley Marley; six great grandchildren; and her very good friend and care giver, Susan Peek.
A Graveside service will be held at Vale Cemetery (Brandywine Avenue), Schenectady at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.
The family asks if you attend the graveside service, please wear something green in honor of Helen.
