Helen M. Dehring, 89 of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Helen was the daughter of the late Feodor Stasko and Rose (Hadggck) Stasko. She was the devoted wife to the late Joseph Dehring.
Helen was involved in various real estate agencies before opening her very own firm. She was the owner and operator of Dehring Real Estate in Delmar. Prior to real estate, she was employed with the V.A. at the Watervliet Arsenal and held various other office positions.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Nicholas) Solomos of Vooheesville and her son, Joseph Dehring of Albany, her grandchildren; Constantine (Alicia) Solomos, Nicole (Joseph) Mangiaracina, her great-grandchildren; Carly Mangiaracina and Daphne Solomos. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Stasko, her dearest friend Dolores Lotito, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband, Helen was predeceased by her sister Mary (Nicholas) Kuzmin, brother Michael Stasko, brother John Stasko, and sister-in-law Julia Stasko.
Services will take place privately at the convenience of the family with Interment in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Waterford, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204.
