Helen Dubois

Ravena- Helen Dubois-Bobola, 91, went to be with her Lord on, December 8, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Paul and Stella Bobola in 1925. She was predeceased by her siblings, Theodore, Paul, Stella and Lottie and her husband Roland Dubois. Helen lived most of her life on Long Island, before moving to Ravena in 2000 to live with her daughter. She was married to Roland Dubois in 1948. She was a dedicated homemaker, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

She is survived by her four children, Linda Gardner (Arthur), Helen J. DuBois-Adesso (Matteo), Mary Jansen (Michael) and Paul DuBois (Linda). She has 10 grandchildren, Dennis, Jason and Phillip Gardner, Brian and Carrie DuBois, Freya and Erik Jansen, and Derrick, Daniel and Shannon DuBois. She has also been blessed with seven great grandsons and one great granddaughter, Jason, Michael, David, Theodore, Edmund, Silas, Adam and Layla. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Helen had a heart of gold and was a very generous and forgiving person. Everyone that met her grew to love her quickly. She will leave a hole in our hearts, but her memory will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
