MALTA – Helen Howell Lundstedt, 90, passed away at her home on Monday, July 28, 2008.
Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Harry Howell. She graduated from high school and was employed by the New York Telephone Co. She married Jack H. Lundstedt in 1939 and lived with her husband and two sons in Bellerose, South Huntington and Centerport, Long Island, NY. Upon the retirement of her husband, they lived in Sarasota, Fla. and Malta, NY.
Helen is survived by her son Scott Lundstedt and his wife, Sandra of Guilderland; her grandchildren, Sonja Mazzulli and her husband, Christopher and Justin Lundstedt and his wife, Joanne; her great-grandchildren, Tucker, Auserehl and Aneleise Mazzulli and Jeffrey, Grace and Christopher Lundstedt; one niece and six nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack in 1985 and her son, Jeffrey in 1968.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Lynnwood Reformed Church in Guilderland (3714 Carman Road Schenectady, NY 12303).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Inc., 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598-9986.
