Helen V. Hunt

Troy- Helen V. Hunt, 74, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Helen was the daughter of the late George and Verona Laviolette. Helen was the devoted wife to the late Waldo R. Hunt. They were married 46 years, were inseparable and cherished each other.

Helen was a dedicated nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy for many years. Helen was a loving, caring daughter, wife and friend to everyone she met. Helen was a huge Yankees fan.

Helen is survived by her brothers, Eugene J. Laviolette and Clifford Laviolette; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Helen is predeceased by her 2 sisters, Marie Ciarcia and Marion Paolucci of Connecticut; brother, William F. Laviolette of Troy, NY and nieces Donna Ciarcia and Marie Paolucci of Connecticut.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Thursday July 28, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy, New York.
