VOORHEESVILLE – Helen J. Bailey, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2013.
Helen was born on August 28, 1922 in Guilderland and was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Mazurek) Koziol. She was a cook for the Voorheesville School District and was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church in Voorheesville. She was an active member of the Voorheesville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the New Scotland Senior Citizens.
Helen is survived by her sons, Richard (the late Mary), John (Georgi Ann), and Paul; her grandchildren, Richard, Ryan, Bradley, and Sara; her great grandson, Richard; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Bud" Bailey and her siblings, Joseph, Michael, Andrew, Mary Charon, and John.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew's Church, Mountainview St., Voorheesville. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont. There will be no calling Hours.
