CLIFTON PARK – Helen J. Waters, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at her home.
Helen was born on March 13, 1923 in West Wyoming, PA and was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Phillips) Weiss. She was a Federal Government employee, working for the United States Postal Service for many years until her retirement; prior to that she worked at the Watervliet Arsenal. She loved her garden, flowers and trees, but most especially spending time with her family and her rescued pets.
Helen is survived by her loving daughters, Helenmarie Waters, Thomaseth (George) Dulchinos and Lorie (David) Kelley; her cherished grandsons, Thomas, Edward and Daniel Bonville, Alex and Nick Dulchinos and Jeff Armer; her sister, Marie Gibbard; her brother, Frank Weiss Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Waters, who passed away in December of 1976, and her sister, Dolores Parsons.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterford.
