Guilderland Center- Helen "Dee" Kwasnicki , 79, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Helen was the daughter of the late Michael Lobay and Helen Lobay. Helen was the wife to the late Daniel "Donald" J. Kwasnicki.
Helen was a dedicated employee of the Guilderland Center Nursing Home until March of 2015. She had a great love for her family and her children's pets, to which she was referred to as "Grandma."
Helen is survived by her daughters, Diane K. (Thomas) Warren, and Barbara Kwasnicki; her sisters, Ann Marie (Jan) Ptak, Joan Demetry; brother, Michael (Elaine) Lobay and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents and husband, Helen was predeceased by her son, Michael J. Kwasnicki.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Helen's memory to The Community Hospice, www.communityhospice.org.
