Helen L Pugliese, 78, wife of James Pugliese of Clifton Park passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 10, 2024 .
Born April 19, 1945 in Troy New York she was the daughter of the late William and Louise Stellato and sister of the late Geraldine Reepmeyer.
Helen was a 1963 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy, a former employee of Union National Bank of Troy and Market Insights of Clifton Park. In her free time, she took great joy in traveling the world as well as spending time with with her family and her many friends.
Helen was a 50 year member of the Edison Club in Rexford and was volunteer of the year for CAPTAIN Community Human Services.
Helen is survived by her husband, Jim, whom she married in 2001, inheriting an additional family, including son Gregory Pugliese (Anita); daughter Jillian DaCosta (Rui) and daughter Brianne Altavas(Vito); as well as grandchildren Ivan, Ria, Sydney and Marcus. She is also survived by her beloved nephew, John MacDonald(Lynn) and beloved niece Tara MacDonald-Vogelsberg (David) as well as nieces and nephews Maya, Ava, Jace, Daren, and Jacob.
Visitation will be held on Thurs. Feb 15th from 3-4:30 pm at New Comers Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY services will follow immediately after.
Helen requested in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CAPTAIN, CHS, 5 Municipal Plaza, Suite 3, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
